A Seychellois student who has just completed her Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies and International Hotel Management at the Shannon College of Hotel Management has done Seychelles proud.
Shylla Auguste emerged as the overall best academic performer at this year's graduation ceremony of the Shannon College, which is a recognised college of the National University of Ireland.
Ms Auguste was among 12 Seychellois ladies to graduate at the ceremony, which took place on Thursday 8th March 2018, on the International Women's Day.

Mayotte takes the helm of the Indian Ocean’s Vanilla Islands

Mayotte has assumed the rotating presidency of the Vanilla Islands, taking over from the Comoros that was leading the organisation for the past year.

The President of the Departmental Council of Mayotte, Mr. Soibahadine Ibrahim Ramadani, was handed over the mandate to lead the regional grouping on February 8, 2018.

Air Seychelles and the Seychelles Tourism Board (STB) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to extend their partnership into 2018.
