Strategic Planning & Market Intelligence

The Strategic Planning and Market Intelligence section is responsible for enhancing STB’s strategic planning capabilities through gathering, processing, monitoring, analyzing and reporting on various forms of market intelligence and data related to the tourism industry. This includes conducting both primary and secondary research activities within the sector and working closely with other stakeholders to ensure initiatives being undertaken by STB are in line with the National Tourism Strategy as well as the needs of the industry. STB is therefore able to make informed decisions regarding its marketing and operational strategies with the aim of maximizing the use of its resources to increase tourism arrivals and earnings for the country.
